Robert L. Gross
Advocate, Native, Eutopian.
Washington D.C. Mayoral Nominee.
DC Statehood Green Party.
My policy agenda is organized through the Human Life Standard (HLS) a governance framework designed to measure whether policies actually improve the daily lives of residents in Washington, D.C.
My vision of a “Eco-conscious, finically conservative, culturally progressive” eutopia embraces the belief that markets can drive innovation and prosperity when guided by strong democratic institutions, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
Rather than rejecting capitalism, this approach seeks to manage it in the public interest ensuring economic growth is shared broadly, essential services remain accessible, workers are treated fairly, and sustainability is prioritized.
By balancing entrepreneurial opportunity with social justice, I believe Socialistic governance in Washington, D.C. can build an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthiest few.
A central point of my campaign is the modernization of Washington, D.C. city government through responsible artificial intelligence integration.
This initiative would deploy modern technology to:
Improve city budgeting accuracy.
Streamline permits (+ shorten form volume) and housing development approvals.
Modernize outdated government tech systems.
Enhance public service delivery (Faster response times, working “DC Public Wi-Fi”.)
Provide real-time public government performance ( /Compliance) dashboards.
These reforms would increase government efficiency while maintaining transparency and public trust in the operations of the District government.
As the Gen-Z candidate in this Washington, D.C. mayoral race, I represent my generation. One that will inherit the consequences of today’s actions. Like many in my generation, I understand that the stakes are high and that the future of Washington, D.C. must be built with courage, innovation, and responsibility.

Pillars, Not Promises
“Public office is not a prize; it is a reflection of our shared commitment to a higher order. It is the visible embodiment of our loyalty to the people, and a testament to our devotion, not only to this nation, but to the world’s citizens who call our diamond home.”
Rather than focusing on bureaucratic activity, the Human Life Standard evaluates government success by its outcomes across six pillars.
Through these pillars, the campaign addresses major issues facing Washington, D.C., including affordable housing, economic opportunity, public safety, education reform, and transparent city governance.
Uncover your City
Washington, D.C. has been governed by leaders who place private gain above the public good, leaders who answer more readily to corporate interests than to the communities that make this city home.
I do not oppose business. Industry and enterprise are part of the lifeblood of Washington, D.C., and a healthy local economy strengthens our neighborhoods. But business should never dictate the destiny of our city or the priorities of its government.
I seek to lead not from the boardroom, but from the ground we share.
Washington, D.C. must be rebuilt with its people at the center. We deserve a city shaped by those who live in it, not merely profit from it.
This city is home to nearly 700,000 souls who call Washington, D.C. home. Washingtonians who despite countless protests, marches, and city council meetings, still feel unheard within their very diamond.
It’s time to show the world a capital where community voices matter, where trust between residents and their institutions outweighs profit, and where the people can reclaim their purpose in shaping the future of their city.
“We Will Rise From the Roots.
Not For Profit, For Purpose!
Together as one United City”
